After a lackluster opening quarter, Alexander Blessin’s team took the lead nicely. Revelation Amoura outwitted Mignolet with a bicycle kick. The Algerian fooled with Mechele a little later and then made a move, but Mignolet went flat. Spileers then pushed the ball towards his own goal, but the Club goalkeeper prevented an own goal and Spileers himself eventually cleared the ball in front of the goal line. Club Brugge could do very little to counter that.
