Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and Investika Real Estate Fund announce the signing of an agreement under which URW will sell an 89.9% stake in the Höfe am Brühl shopping center in Leipzig to the Czech real estate investor.

URW will continue to hold a 10.1% stake in the center and will be responsible for center and asset management during the transition period.

Jakub Skwarlo, Chief Operating Officer Central Europe at URW, says: “We are pleased to announce the sale of a majority stake in Höfe am Brühl in Leipzig to Investika. We look forward to this partnership and the center’s promising future. This step is closely in line with the previously communicated strategic focus on our central properties in Germany.”

This transaction demonstrates INVESTIKA’s ability to execute large, complex cross-border transactions and consolidates its position as one of the most active and regionally diversified real estate funds in Central Europe.”

Details of the transaction were not disclosed. Closing is subject to customary conditions precedent and is expected to occur in the first half of 2026.

The Höfe am Brühl is located in the heart of Leipzig city center and is positioned as a central hub for shopping and lifestyle. The property includes more than 130 shops and a total rental area of ​​50,500 square meters. The anchor tenants include H&M, Adidas, HUGO, New Yorker, Bershka and Pull&Bear as well as dm, Müller, Action and MediaMarkt. The center also has a total of around 4,900 square meters of space for offices and apartments as mixed-use components.
