As several media outlets reported, “Der Graf” tripped over a loudspeaker about half an hour into the concert and fell headfirst from the stage into the barrier. The concert was then interrupted for around five minutes before the musician returned with the words: “Old Swede, hey.” “I’m very sorry for this shock, but together we can do it.”
“A few small pieces of teeth” lost
In terms of sound, the singer, who played the entire show to the end, hardly noticed the incident, as enthusiastic fans found. However, the fall was not without consequences: According to “dpa,” “The Count” confirmed that he had lost “a few small pieces of teeth.” According to his management, he had to go to a Leipzig clinic after the concert ended.
Unholy back on stage
Fall or not, the concert in Leipzig was a sacred moment for Unholy, after all, it was almost ten years since they played what was supposed to be their last concert. Now the Aachen band is back. New album will be released in 2026
In 2016 the band played their farewell concert in Cologne. But at the beginning of this year, “Der Graf” surprisingly announced that Unholy would produce a new album. DEAR FAITH MONSTER is scheduled to be released on March 13th next year. In Leipzig, fans got a foretaste: On November 13th, the theme single “Back again” was released. It is the second single from the upcoming album, after “Wunderschön” was released in September.

“Back again” was the first song he wrote after he decided to make music again, said “Der Graf”. “The memories of past concerts were my inspiration for this song. The images and emotions literally flashed before my eyes and the longing to experience these moments again awoke.” The song is his musical new beginning on stage. “There, where I was able to experience the most beautiful and greatest appreciation as a person and musician. Song for his mother
Ten years ago he apparently said goodbye to have more time for his family. But at some point the desire to be on stage again returned. According to “Spiegel”, in Leipzig he told how important his mother was to him. She always fought like a lion, for example when he had big problems at school as a boy because he stuttered. Now she’s old, but she’s still fighting. He dedicates the song “My Lion” to her.
