Ascoli hosts the final act of the championship. Falsini’s youngsters celebrate thanks to Nardozi beating Abate’s Rossoneri

    Nardozi goal and trophy to Rome. The Under 16 final between the Giallorossi and Milan is decided in extra time, at the Del Duca in Ascoli, after a series of reciprocal thrusts without ever hitting. All up to minute 94 ‘of the second overtime – 80-minute races in this category, 10’ extra time -, when sixteen-year-old Manuel Nardozi, born in 2006, thrusts Colzani with a nice header and gives Gianluca’s Roma Falsini the title of Under 16 Italian champion.

    Ready, go and it’s Rome right away. In the first half the Giallorossi have several occasions, they show themselves more in the parts of Colzani, especially on the counterattack, but without being able to pierce the goal of the Rossoneri number one. In the second half, on the other hand, it was AC Milan that touched the advantage several times. At 48 ‘Sia puts De Franceschi, but everything is stopped. Goal canceled. Not happy, the Rossoneri’s number 11 goes close to 1-0 in the 75th minute, but the Roma goalkeeper performs a miracle from two steps and deflects for a corner (great action by Magni from the left).

    At 82 ‘, however, Colzani saves a header from Mannini by raising the wall. The Giallorossi advantage comes in the 94th minute of the second extra period: Feola’s cross from the right and Nardozi’s detachment for the 1-0. Colzani senses, but does not arrive. AC Milan’s most sensational occasion happens on Magni’s feet, who kicks from twenty meters at the 100 minute mark. The ball crosses the whole area, but ends up barely. Last thrill of the match before the celebrations. Falsini’s boys go under the fan sector. Roma are the U16 champion of Italy. It is the first title of the Giallorossi in this category.
