Materials technology group Umicore inaugurated a new cathode materials factory, part of the battery of electric vehicles, in southern Poland on Wednesday. With the plant in Nysa, Umicore aims to lead the way in battery materials in Europe as the vehicle fleet needs to evolve from fuel-powered vehicles to electric vehicles.
