Maya Thurman-Hawke, the daughter of the former acting couple Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, has become known to the general public from the highly popular Netflix series Stranger Things.
Now Maya published a rare photo together with her father Ethan on her Instagram account. The publication was made as a joint post between Ethan’s and Maya’s Instagram accounts.
Among the commenters of the photo, an admiring discussion arose about how much Maya looks like her famous parents.
– I love how Maya is the perfect mix of Uma and Ethan! She is gorgeous, as are both of her parents.
– Wow! She looks a lot like her mother.
– Holy cow! She looks just like her mother. Uma junior.
For some, the family relationship came as a complete surprise.

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke were married from 1998 to 2005. The couple had Maya, born in 1998, and Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, born in 2002.
Ethan commented years after the breakup that he was too young to get married.
– It has been established that men’s brains are not ready before the age of 28. I’m sure my frontal lobe wasn’t developed enough. I had no business swearing off lights that were meant to last more than two weeks.
