Evariest Callens reached the finish of the Transpyrenea on Tuesday around 3 pm, one of the toughest ultratrails in the world. The competition has 900 kilometers and 75,000 altimeters. Callens completed the process in 11 days and 3 hours, a record time.

The West Flanders started as a competitor of Sangé Sherpa from Nepal, but after four days the two decided to continue together. An emotional moment followed at the finish: Callens asked his girlfriend to marry.
