Fear evening on the train directed to Venice after the afternoon game that saw Udinese impose himself right on the lagoons. Around 18 today, just after the championship challenge, hard clashes between the two fans have occurred at the Basiliano station. According to a first reconstruction, it would seem that a group of Udinese fans – about 50 – attacked the train of the approximately 1200 guest fans who arrived in Friuli for the game. The train had to stop its race due to the launch of torches, stones and smoke bombs: then the hooded attackers broke into the train armed with manganelli, bars, sticks and other blunt bodies of various kinds. The clash was hard and led to at least a dozen injuries, including 4 in serious condition. The police intervention then prevented the situation in further degenerating.
