Ukrainian refugees in Poland will help pay for reception: maximum 6.40 euros per day | War Ukraine and Russia

Ukrainians who stay in reception centers or hotel rooms paid for by the government must pay a maximum of 4.30 euros per day after 120 days. After 180 days, this will increase to a maximum of 6.40 euros. Exceptions apply to pregnant persons and people who are unable to work due to their age or health.

Support for the many refugees was originally high in Poland, but has been declining since Poland faced rising energy and food prices. The new rule still has to be approved by parliament, but is not expected to meet resistance.
