Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko could not hold back his tears at the press conference

Midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko, who won the championship in English Premier League team Manchester City, had emotional moments at the press conference held before the postponed World Cup play-off semi-final match, which his country Ukraine will play against Scotland.

Zinchenko started his speech by thanking Scotland for their support and could not hold back the tears while talking about the events in his country, Ukraine.

“THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THE TRUTH”

Speaking after a journalist asked him how he felt about the ongoing war in Ukraine, Zinchenko said:

“Every Ukrainian wants one thing: the war to end. I talked to people from all over the world, from different countries. I talked to children who couldn’t understand what was going on. Their only dream is for the war to end. When it comes to football, the Ukrainian team has its own dream. We want to go to the World Cup, We want to give this incredible feeling to the Ukrainians because the Ukrainians deserve it. It is impossible to describe these feelings without being in this position. What is happening in our country right now is not acceptable. This is something I cannot even describe. Either way I’m 100 percent sure I will help as much as possible by trying to help as much as possible. Starting with that, posting something, sending some money, texting my Instagram followers. I have to share this and show the whole world what’s going on in Ukraine right now. The truth of the whole world He needs to know.”
