Ukrainian ambassador attacks Schwesig for tweet

He responded on Twitter to a tweet by the SPD politician, who had distributed a photo of the state parliament illuminated in the Ukrainian national colors and wrote: “Solidarity with Ukraine.” Melnyk, known for sharp formulations, commented briefly: “The hypocrisy is Puke Manuela Schwesig”.

Ukraine and Poland have always been fierce opponents of the line. Schwesig was a vehement supporter and had also pursued a decidedly pro-Moscow policy until the Russian war against Ukraine.
