Ukraine completes the field of participants in the U21 European Championship

Ukraine has qualified for a U21 European Championship for the third time. The 2006 finalists won the second leg of the play-off against Slovakia 3-0 (0-0) and turned the first leg 2-3 to complete the field for the 2023 finals.

All three goals in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, where the game was played because of the war, were scored by former Rostock player Danylo Sikan (48’/54’/66′).
