Schiphol Affairs Councilor Ferry Hoekstra believes that the ministry should come up with something better after ‘ten years of thinking’: “We have been looking forward to clear rules that would better protect our residents for a long time. At the end of January, chairman of the Uithoorn residents’ association PUSH, Mirella Visser, even spoke of ‘a black day for the area.’
