Anyone who parks footballers for international matches will receive money from the UEFA. For the period between 2020 and 2024 that was a total of 233 million euros. In Germany, FC Bayer Munich receives the largest sum, and Manchester City is international.

The European Football Union (UEFA) pays the European clubs a record sum for the plans of their internationals. 233 million euros flow for the cycle between 2020 and 2024 to a total of 901 clubs from all 55 participating national associations, as the UEFA announced. The 45 clubs from Germany together receive around 30.35 million euros.

FC Bayern Munich receives the largest payment in Germany

Payments refer to the boundaries for two National League tournaments (2020/2021 and 2022/23), the EM qualification (2022 to 2024) and the European Championship round 2024. FC Bayern Munich (around 4.37 million euros) is ahead of RB Leipzig (3.92), Bayer Leverkusen (3.41) and Borussia Dortmund (3.01).

As part of the agreement between the UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA), the associations receive the same share for every player who was parked for a game by the UEFA Nations League and the European qualifiers, as well as a fixed amount per player and day during the European Championship finals.

England with a clear distance in first place

In international comparison, Germany is in third place behind leaders England (46.89 million) and Italy (35.31). The top five complete Spain (22.88) and France (11.97). In the previous cycle (2016-2020), the sum was still 200 million euros, this year it rose to 233 million euros.
