UBS AG publishes investment recommendation: Infineon shares with Buy

The Infineon share was closely monitored by UBS AG. Here are the results.

According to figures for the first quarter of the financial year, UBS left Infineon at “Buy” with a price target of 45 euros. In view of the new target for the operating result (EBIT) in the second quarter and overall, analysts are now likely to reduce their EBIT forecast for the 2023/24 financial year by up to ten percent, wrote analyst Francois-Xavier Bouvignies in a study available on Tuesday. The group’s targets appeared to imply a 16 percent year-on-year increase in sales in the chipmaker’s auto division in the second half of the fiscal year and an increase of six percent compared to the first half of the fiscal year. This is likely to be a key topic during the conference call as it raises questions.
