The first report of the shooting at the Black-tailed Godwit was received by the emergency services at 6:35 p.m. One person has probably been injured, but the police cannot confirm this at this time.
The immediate area surrounding the incident has been cordoned off with police tape.
The report of the shooting on Louis Colignylaan was received by the emergency services just under an hour later, at 7.26 pm.
A police spokesperson said that the investigation is now in full swing, and that there is therefore little information about both incidents. It is not clear at this time whether the shootings are related.
