Two seriously injured by accident on A1 near Bathmen, roadside strewn with holiday stuff

Two people were seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident on the A1 near Bathmen. The van they were driving overturned several times before coming to a stop on the verge. Two teams of the fire brigade simultaneously cut open both sides of the bus to free the victims.
