Two men were injured in a street robbery in Haarlem in the night from Friday to Saturday. They did not have to go to the hospital. The police are looking for witnesses.
The street robbery happened around 1:40 a.m. The two victims noticed that they were being followed when they walked along the Kruisweg towards the Parklaan. When they turned to the Kenaupark, the two suspects came closer and closer.
The duo called out to the victims to hand over their belongings. When they refused, a skirmish ensued in which the victims were injured. After the two suspects got their loot, they ran in the direction of the station.
Police are investigating the robbery and are asking for the public’s help. She calls on witnesses and people with camera images from before, during or after the incident to report.
