The fire brigade in Assen was called twice last night for a fire at the same address. In an iron shack, which serves as a hangout for young people behind the primary schools at the Kloosterveen Child Center, a lot of waste was on fire around 8:40 p.m.
Around midnight the fire brigade was called again, this time a Christmas tree had been dragged into the booth and set on fire.
During this second report, access to the fire turned out to be blocked and bicycle sheds had been moved onto the road to make it more difficult for the fire brigade to reach the seat of the fire. The fire brigade first had to move it to extinguish the fire.
Once he succeeded, the fire was quickly extinguished.
