At the Lankhorst junction, two cars got off the road in a short time. That happened just outside Meppel, on the A28 towards the A32 to Heerenveen.
Around 10 am this morning, probably due to slippery, a car slid off the road and hit over. Eventually the vehicle came to a halt on the roadside. The driver, a 24-year-old man from Emmen, was able to get out of the car himself, but went to the hospital for a check-up. The other occupant was not injured.
At the same point, another car got off the road around 11 am. The connecting road was closed for a short time and Rijkswaterstaat made the road less smooth with salt and liquids.
