As a student, Bert drove in his beetle to Greece and Portugal: ‘I would not dare with a duck’

What started over purely practical considerations, grew into a great love for the Volkswagen Beetle. In 1977 Bert van Wee bought his first beetle and since then the Amersfoorter has never been without it again. At the moment he even has two: a black spectacle beetle from 1952 and a white-green copy from 1967.
