At the 2025 European Basketball Championship, our National Basketball Team faced Sweden at the Xiaomi Arena in Riga. 12 giant men who won 85-79, which was the scene of a great struggle from start to finish, made its name in the quarter-finals.
Sweden started the match quickly, the first quarter of 23-20 ahead completed. In the second quarter, our opponent preserved its superiority, closed the circuit 42-37 ahead. However, in the second half, our nationalists took on the stage, with the hardness in defense and high percentage of attacks on the control of the game. The third quarter of 63-55 ahead of the Moon-Stars, the last period, maintaining the superiority of the parquet 85-79 victory left.
With this result, our A National Basketball Team succeeded in rising to the quarter -finals in the European Championship. Our nationals will face the winner of the Pol in the quarterfinals of the Polish-Bosna Herzegovina.
