In the fourth match of the UEFA Women’s Nations C League Group 2, Turkey beat its host Luxembourg 1-0.
Türkiye took the lead 1-0 in the 14th minute. After İlayda Civelek’s pass, Birgül Sadıkoğlu in the penalty area, dribbled by goalkeeper Schlime and rolled the ball into the empty net. 1-0
In the 90+2 minute attack of the crescent-star team, Arzu Karabulut’s hard shot from outside the penalty area was blocked by goalkeeper Schlime.
Türkiye won the match 1-0.
Having previously defeated Georgia 3-0 away, Lithuania 2-0 in the match played in Elazığ, and Luxembourg 4-0 away, the crescent-star team guaranteed to advance to the Nations B League despite having the last two matches left in the group.
The crescent-star team celebrated the victory with football fans from Çorum.
