ASSEN – Since Monday morning, the German artist Aziz Elgart can be found at the central station of Assen with chalk in hand. A TT artwork in 3D must be completed on Sunday.

“Fifteen meters by eight. With many small things, many details”, Elgart scratches behind his ears. The last TT winner Fabio Quartararo in 3D and bright colours. “That means you have to be a little careful and be patient.”

Travelers linger at Elgart and look over his shoulder. “Very clever. I couldn’t do this better myself,” they say. The artist from Wilhelmshaven has hung a picture of the end result around the deposited piece at the central station. Elgart: “If the grid is properly plotted and filled in, the colors will come. I know people are waiting for that.”
