TSG Hoffenheim: Savior Godwin on the slip – Bruun Larsen about to say goodbye

Nigeria international

After Kasper Dolberg (25), TSG Hoffenheim has apparently identified another reinforcement for the offensive. Again “table football“ and Portuguese media reports that the Kraichgauers are interested in winger Saviour Godwin from the Portuguese first division club Casa Pia AC. The Nigerian international still has a contract with the promoted team until 2024.

Godwin has been active for the Lisbon club since 2020 and has contributed 22 goals and eleven assists in 76 games so far. Last season he played a key role in promotion with ten goals, only Jota Silva (23) scored one more goal. So far this season he has been a regular on four scorers for Casa Pia, which surprisingly takes fifth place in the Portuguese league after 13 games – and that with a team that has the fifth lowest squad value in the league.

Links from 1899 to Godwin’s agent already exist as the left winger is rued by the same agent as Eduardo Quaresma, 20, on loan from Sporting. The market value of the right foot has recently increased four times in a row, in the most recent update it was raised to 1.5 million euros, making him the second most valuable professional in his team.

TSG Hoffenheim: Bruun Larsen apparently about to say goodbye

While a left winger should come with Godwin, a left winger could go in return. According to the report, Jacob Bruun Larsen is about to say goodbye again. Accordingly, the 24-year-old is already looking for a new club. The six-time Danish international, who was once on loan at RSC Anderlecht during his time at Hoffenheim, has only played 389 minutes this season.

TSG are currently missing Ihlas Bebou (28) and Munas Dabbur (30) on offense. Should Bruun Larsen also leave the club, there is a clear need for improvement. In addition to Dolberg and Godwin, Wolfsburg Luca Waldschmidt (26) was also recently traded.
