Trump has told European leaders that he supports a plan to give the Ukrainian Donbas to Russia, also parts that Russia are not occupied now, in order to end the war. That reports the The New York Times Saturday based on conversations with anonymous EU officials. Until the conversation with Putin in Alaska, Trump still argued for a ceasefire before negotiating about peace.

Trump would like to discuss the plan to hand over the Donbas on Monday with Zensky in Washington. Such a scenario has always been labeled as unacceptable by Ukraine.

According to The New York Times and Reuters news agency, European leaders are also welcome in the conversation in Washington. Sunday comes the so -called Coalition of the Willing together, a connection with allies of Ukraine led by France, the UK and Germany.

This is a video call led by French President Macron, British Prime Minister Starmer and the German Chancellor Merz. Outgoing Prime Minister Schoof is also participating. According to France, the countries will prepare the following steps around Ukraine. The coalition of countries insisted on a ceasefire for the top in Alaska before negotiations for definitive peace could begin.
