Trump-Putin agreement temporarily spares Ukrainian energy infrastructure, but other sectors are taking the full brunt

Donald Trump announced a short winter truce for Ukraine last week. After a phone call from Washington, Vladimir Putin is said to have agreed not to carry out attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for a week due to the predicted extreme cold. The deal was later partly refuted by Moscow, but for the time being no shots have been fired at power plants. That would last until Monday, but there appears to be no real file.
