Former U.S. President Donald Trump has set up his own social media channel. The application is called Truth Social. He tells about it Reuters.

Trump, who received entry passes from major communications services such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Alphabet, did not lie on fire but set up his own social media channel.

Behind the gate bans are Trump’s narrow-minded speeches. In addition, he is thought to have incited people on the platforms to attack the U.S. House of Congress in early 2021.

According to Reuters, Truth Social is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, which uses the acronym TMTG. The company is led by Republican politician Devin Nunes.

Nunes encourages application users to follow as many accounts on the platform as possible, share photos and videos, and actively participate in discussions.

Among other things, a priest from the Catholic Church has been invited, who has been asked to invite more priests to the site.

Truth Social’s funding patterns are unclear, and the TMTG behind it has refused to open up the origins of financial grants for its recent economic growth.

The app was released in the U.S. late Sunday in the Apple App Store. It is not available in Finland.
