In a world that increasingly aims at energy saving and the production of increasingly efficient means of transport, there are still some giants in operation that consume almost unthinkable amounts of energy to move a single kilometre. And, despite this, that’s fine because these are special vehicles for special tasks: from rockets to send Starlink satellites into orbit to cargo ships, passing through cruise ships, military aircraft carriers, planes carrying planes and tanks. Let us immediately point out that, on the podium of the vehicles that consume the most, there are neither cars nor trucks, nor even bulldozers, excavators or other special work vehicles. As is easy to imagine, however, at the top of the ranking are the rockets used to reach space.
