The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee intercepted a truck full of ketamine on Wednesday evening at the Hazeldonk border crossing, near Breda. 145 kilos of ketamine was found in the truck, with a street value of around 3.4 million euros.

The check took place thanks to information that ended up with the police and the Marechaussee. Photos show how the packages with ketamine are engaged in plastic between the load of the truck.

During the check, the driver, a 36-year-old Polish man, was arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling. The ketamine has been seized and will be destroyed. According to the National Drug Monitor, the street value of a gram of ketamine is around 23.75 euros, the seized load therefore has a value of 3.4 million euros.
