Tropical temperatures will continue for a while: ‘Local 30 degrees possible’

Next week we have to take into account tropical temperatures again. Wouter van Bernebeek of Weerplaza told this on Friday morning in the radio program ‘WAKKER!’ on Omroep Brabant.

The sun is already showing itself well this Friday. There are some veil clouds, but the sun shines through it easily. It will be a bit warmer than Thursday, about 27 degrees. There is also less wind. “That will make it feel a bit warmer.”

Storm
A few showers will pass on Saturday. “Especially around the Belgian border.” Then, according to Wouter, there is also a small chance of thunderstorms. “Particularly Saturday evening. But otherwise it will be dry and quite sunny. It will also be about 27 degrees on Saturday.”

Temperatures will rise further on Sunday and Monday. “It is possible that we will reach 30 degrees locally on Monday,” said Wouter. “Even then the weather will be quite sunny with little wind. It will be perfect summer weather in the coming days.”

Chance of showers slowly increasing
The chance of showers will gradually increase from Tuesday. “But those are probably local showers. A lot of rain will fall in one place, while it will remain dry a little further on. So big differences, but there are no really rainy days for the time being.”

It will still be warm on Tuesday. “About 25 degrees or a little more. Later in the week, the temperature slowly decreases a bit, to about 22 degrees. But that is still too hot for this time of year.”
