As soon as it freezes a little, all glances go to Friesland because of the ‘draft of the skating rides’. But now that the mercury is pushing our country towards a heat wave, the Frisians remain just as sober as when determining the ice thickness: “You really don’t get coughing and pimples from this warmth. Sitting in the sun and not nagging.”
