Paul Smith has teamed up with British football club Manchester United and their outfitter Adidas to release a version of the ‘Stan Smith’ sneaker.
The collaboration pays homage to the partnership between Manchester United and Paul Smith, who dresses the team on matchdays, the British brand announced on Friday. She is part of the AW22 collection.
In addition to the usual features of the Adidas model ‘Stan Smith’, such as the portrait of the tennis player on the tongue and the Adidas trademark, the cooperation partners are also immortalized on the shoe. Paul Smith adorns one of the tongues and Manchester United the heel strap and other details such as the insoles.
The edition is limited to 1946 pairs worldwide. The number is based on the joint birth year of Stan Smith and Paul Smith.
