Robbie Williams sings “No More Tears” – Ozzy Osbourne will be honored posthumously at the BRIT Awards 2026. Discover all the highlights of the award ceremony now.

The BRIT Awards will take place on Saturday February 28th. Ozzy Osbourne will be honored posthumously with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tribute performance for Ozzy Osbourne

A tribute performance has been announced for metal rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. British musician Robbie Williams will sing “No More Tears,” the title track from Osbourne’s 1991 solo album, at the awards show. Former band members who have been part of Osborne’s band over the years – including Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde – will also be part of the tribute.

Osbourne died in July 2025 at the age of 76. There was already a tribute to the singer at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Posthumous honor of a rock legend

“Ozzy Osbourne was a towering force in modern music. With his distinctive voice and unique presence, he redefined the sound and spirit of rock and inspired generations of artists,” said Stacey Tang, Chair of the BRIT Awards Committee and Co-Chair of RCA Records.

Osbourne has been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame twice – once with Black Sabbath and once as a solo artist. He also received five Grammys throughout his career. Now he will be awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” posthumously. The ceremony concludes with the tribute program curated by his wife Sharon Osbourne. The British rock musician hosted the BRIT Awards together with Sharon and his children in 2008.

Further highlights and award ceremony

In addition to honoring Osbourne, other prominent appearances have been announced. Harry Styles will make his first live performance since 2023. Grammy winner Olivia Dean, named Newcomer of the Year, is also on stage and is also nominated for several awards. Spanish singer Rosalía makes her BRIT debut and Wolf Alice will perform a song from her latest album THE CLEARING.

This year the BRIT Awards will not take place in London as usual, but in Manchester. Some awards have already been given out in advance: Mark Ronson, PinkPantheress, Noel Gallagher and Jacob Alon have already received their awards. All other awards will be presented on Saturday, February 28th, 2026.
