Status: 07/16/2023 1:41 p.m

Triathlete Laura Lindemann has another chance for a medal one day after bronze in the individual sprint at the World Championships in Hamburg. Together with Tim Hellweg, Annika Koch and Simon Henseleit, the Berliner starts today in the mixed relay. NDR.de broadcasts live.

The German quartet, which is one of the favorites for the title, will start at 2:15 p.m. over 4 x 300 m swimming, 7.0 km cycling and 1.6 km running. Two years ago, the athletes of the German Triathlon Union (DTU) triumphed over the Olympic distance in Hamburg and finished third last year.

Lindemann and Hellwig also started at both races. The duo also won gold in the individual races (also Olympic distance) in 2021.

DTU juniors have done it

The DTU U23 juniors had already won the gold medal on Saturday. The quartet Henry Graf (Darmstadt), Julia Böcker (Bad Oldesloe), Eric Diener (Freiburg) and Tanja Neubert (Erlangen) won after 1:25:02 hours ahead of Italy (1:25:10) and New Zealand (1:25: 45).
