A total of 23 catering establishments are participating. Businesses in Koestraat and Platielstraat are not allowed to participate for safety reasons. “Unfortunately, we would have liked to see that it can be done in a safe and sound way,” says Ilja Willems of Taverna la Vaca on Koestraat. “In principle, nothing changes in the set-up: where there are now regular tables, there will be standing tables.” His colleague Remco Klaassen from Cliché agrees. “It’s a tight street, but it could have been done.”
