The Swedish shoe and clothing supplier Tretorn wants to strengthen its activities in Germany and Austria. For this purpose, the traditional brand, which has belonged to the US group Authentic Brands Group since 2015, has now brought the Hamburg agency Bold & Expert on board as a consultant.

As part of the collaboration, Bold & Expert partner Oliver Feske will assume “commercial responsibility for both markets as external country manager,” the consulting firm announced on Thursday.

A focus of the partnership is the “identification and acquisition of suitable trading partners” for Tretorn in stationary retail and e-commerce, explained Bold & Expert. The agency will also develop “pop-up, franchise and retail concepts” and advise the brand “on collection architecture, pricing and merchandise management for the apparel, footwear and accessories product groups”. The focus is on Germany and Austria.

Vasko Markovski, the owner and CEO of Tretorn, praised the new partnership. “Strengthening Tretorn’s presence in Germany and Austria represents an important milestone in our European expansion,” he said in a statement. “Together with Bold & Expert’s market expertise and under the leadership of Oliver Feske as Tretorn Country Manager for the region, we are confident that our Scandinavian aesthetic and heritage will resonate with consumers and drive long-term growth in these strategic markets.”
