Safety first

According to the municipality, work on the park is going faster than expected. However, for safety reasons, they keep the cycle and pedestrian path closed longer. “There is more construction traffic than expected, which makes it safer to keep the paths closed for longer,” said a spokesperson for the municipality. “We believe the trails will reopen no later than Friday, December 19.”
