DOW JONES–Traton and AI company Applied Intuition have announced a new software-defined vehicle platform. According to the announcement, the platform will be used in all new trucks from the Traton brands Scania, MAN, International and Volkswagen Truck & Bus. The two companies worked together to develop the platform for over a year. It is expected to be introduced in new trucks in 2028.
Applied Intuition from the USA specializes in the field of physical AI. The technology is integrated into the hardware to interact with the real world.
