The decision of the Federal Court: for President Antonini also two years of inhibition in addition to the two already received at the end of December
Three lines for a further blow on Trapani’s troubled season to say the least: “The FIP announces that, today, the Federal Court, pursuant to articles 59, letter b and 61 of the Justice Regulation, has sanctioned the Trapani Shark club with 2 penalty points for the current sporting year and the president of the club, Mr. Valerio Antonini, with two years of inhibition for administrative irregularities at the time of registration for the championship 2025/26”.

In total, there are 10 penalty points in total, coming in four stages. Before today’s -2, there had been a -4 in May (to be served in the 2025-26 season, therefore the current one) for irregularities in social security and tax payments, then another point at the end of November for the delay in the payment of an installment of tax and social security payments and finally a further subtraction of 3 points at the end of December with Antonini banned for two years. With today’s two we have reached minus 10, with Antonini having four years of inhibition. Trapani then slips to twelfth place at 10 points, cut off from the possibility of taking part in the Final Eight of the Italian Cup.
