TRANSFER NEWS | Trabzonspor’s Nenad Bjelica caught Bruno Petkovic’s eye!

Unlike last season’s championship, Trabzonspor remained well below expectations this season. While the burgundy blues are moving away from the summit race, they have already rolled up their sleeves for the next season.

It is planned to establish an effective squad for the next season under the leadership of Croatian coach Nenad Bjelica, who took over the team in Fırtına.

It was stated that the Croatian coach, who is thinking about which names in the current squad will continue next season, will suggest alternative names in the player portfolio to the board of directors in line with the needs that may arise in the midfield and forward line. Trabzonspor management, on the other hand, is considering handing over his team to Bjelica before the preparations for the next season begin.

Nenad Bjelica from Fırtına aims to shine low-cost players and bring them to Trabzonspor. In this sense, the technical man wants to bring his former student to Trabzon.

BRUNO PETKOVIC IS ON THE AGAIN

Bjelica, who touched the careers of many football players from Croatia, put Bruno Petkovic on his agenda. Bjelica, who worked together with the striker he transferred to Dinamo Zagreb between 2018-2020, was building his game plan on Petkovi.

Bjelica played Petkovic in 73 games, giving the player the most chances to form. Trabzonspor, who could not get the performance they expected from Umut Bozok and Gomez, is expected to contact Petkovic if they part ways with one or both of the two players.

It is stated that the 28-year-old Croatian player, whose contract will expire in 2024, has a market value of 6 million Euros, making this transfer difficult. However, it is expected that Bjelica will make a positive contribution to the transfer in the negotiations to be held with both Petkovic and his club.
