Transfer perfect: national player changes to HSV

The HSV made the second transfer perfect on Thursday: Giorgi Gocholeishvili spends the coming season on the Elbe. The 24 -year -old international from Georgia comes on loan with a subsequent purchase option of Shakhtar Donetsk. Most recently, he was loaned to FC Copenhagen from Denmark.
HSV sports director Stefan Kuntz was looking forward to a player with an “excellent character” and a “top mentality”. “With all these attributes, he will not only do our defense network, but also good for the whole team,” said the 62-year-old.

St. Pauli’s defense chief Hauke Wahl looks forward to the upcoming Bundesliga season-and especially the duels with the HSV. “I was looking forward to the derbies,” said the defender in an interview with the “kicker”.
