Attack on a trans woman (32) on Wednesday evening in Berlin-Neukölln!

According to the police, the 32-year-old was walking on a sidewalk in Hermannstrasse around 9:40 p.m. Suddenly a man is said to have approached her.

He initially approached her verbally in German. She could not give the exact wording due to a lack of language skills, the police said. It was clear from the man’s facial expressions and gestures that the statements were insulting.

The 32-year-old went on. The man followed her and spat in her face. She tried to escape. The man is said to have suddenly sprayed irritant in her face. Then he ran away.

Passers-by alerted the police and fire brigade. The trans woman required hospital treatment for eye irritation.

The state security police are investigating and are now looking for the perpetrator.
