The first safety training took place yesterday in the municipality of Bierbeek in the province of Flemish Brabant for those who buy a speed pedelec from the Flemish bicycle manufacturer Ellio. From now on, every customer will receive safety training from the VSV (Flemish Foundation for Traffic Studies) when purchasing such a fast electric bicycle. The initiative should result in fewer accidents.
