Intense earthquake in western Turkey: 6.1 on the Richter scale
Turkey was hit on Sunday evening by an earthquake with a force of 6.1 on the Richter scale. Ali Yerlikaya, the Minister of the Interior of the Land, said that, according to provisional estimates, there had been no victims, but that one building in Sindirgi had collapsed.
