Normally they put their hands in the air to direct traffic. Tonight the volunteers from the Traffic Controllers De Wolden group can do that for themselves. They are the winners of the 2024 Breed Horse.
This is a prize that De Wolden gives to initiatives that make a significant contribution to the municipality. The traffic controllers receive the prize for their tireless efforts during activities in the municipality, such as the Sinterklaas arrival, walking tours or the horse competition.
The group is also called irreplaceable. They have now been around for twenty years and work with about twenty volunteer traffic controllers. They are very happy with the recognition, but they hope for new recruits at the club to continue in the future.
