Dutch companies imported more than 2 billion euros worth of goods from Ukraine last year. This mainly concerns vegetable fine oils and fats, such as sunflower oil and maize. In 2002, imports were worth 177 million euros, according to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
