A broken arm for Marchant and only a few bruises (but a lot of fear) for Pröpster, who was left in a state of shock. The two cyclists collided during the track race, ending up running over two spectators. The emergency services intervened immediately and transported the four people involved to the nearest London hospital. If the women’s Endurance had already ended with the victory of Katie Archibald, in the sprint only the verdict of the Keirin remained to be defined, where Alina Lysenko was already certain of the overall victory.
