Losing 2-1 to Denmark’s Copenhagen team in the first match of the UEFA Champions League play-off tour, Trabzonspor returned to the city.
The Bordeaux-Blues arrived in Trabzon after a 4.5-hour journey from Copenhagen, where they took off at noon by a private plane belonging to Turkish Airlines.
At the exit of the airport, a small number of supporters took photos with coach Abdullah Avcı and football players and had the form signed.
Ahmetcan Kaplan did not take part in the convoy
Young player Ahmetcan Kaplan, whose transfer to Ajax in Trabzonspor is in the process of being completed, was not included in the convoy.
The player, who is expected to sign a contract with Ajax, did not return to the city from Denmark and went to the Netherlands.
