Trabzonspor drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace, one of the English Premier League teams, in the preparation match, which was given to the leagues due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

    The burgundy-blue team played in the match within the scope of the Winter Football Series organized by Regnum Carya; Uğurcan Çakır, Hüseyin Türkmen, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Vitor Hugo, Arif vacuum, Manolis Siopis, Anastasios Bakasetas, Edin Visca, Abdülkadir Ömür, Trezeguet and Umut Bozok started with 11 of them.

    Muhammed Taha Tepe, Bruno Peres, Doğucan Haspolat, Stefano Denswil, Yusuf Erdoğan, Marek Hamsik, Enis Bardhi, Naci Ünüvar, Taha Altıkardeş, Caner Uzun and Poyraz Yıldırım also played in Trabzonspor.

    Trabzonspor took the lead 1-0 with Trezeguet’s goal in the second minute of the match. The English team caught the draw with Odsonne Edouard’s goal in the 7th minute. The Black Sea representative again gained the upper hand with Umut Bozok’s goal in the 23rd minute and went ahead 2-1 at the halftime.

    Both teams made several substitutions in the second half. Crystal Palace tied once again with a goal scored by Jean-Philippe Mateta in the 63rd minute. Despite the brisk struggle of the two teams in the remaining part, the score did not change and the match ended 2-2.
